Description of Services:

Stella's Girls, Inc. is a grassroots nonprofit empowering youth ages 8-24 to become social change agents and leaders. We provide free, culturally relevant mentoring and leadership programs that have served over 6,000 youth since 2016. Our evidence-based programs include The Sunflower Project (mentorship for girls), Journey to Manhood (mentorship for boys), Leaders Who Code and Emerging Coders (STEAM education), Red Flower Code (menstrual health education), and Peers Against Tobacco Ambassadors (education about tobacco, vaping, and cannabis). We serve youth and families across Southern Maryland and internationally, with trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning at the core of everything we do.
