Local businesses are invited to participate in the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program. Host employers provide meaningful work experience to Charles County youth while supporting workforce development in the community. The program runs July through August. Employers receive coordination support from BSI throughout the program.
Local Businesses Make This Program Possible The Summer Youth Employment Program succeeds because of local employers. Host businesses provide mentorship and real work experience to youth entering the workforce. Participating employers demonstrate leadership in workforce development and community engagement.
The Summer Youth Employment Program connects local businesses with youth seeking employment experience. Participating employers help young people develop workplace skills while contributing to the local workforce pipeline. Host sites provide supervision and meaningful work assignments. BSI manages program coordination and participant preparation.
Host employers gain additional workforce support during the summer, recognition for community leadership, opportunity to mentor young professionals, and participation in a county workforce initiative. Businesses across Charles County are encouraged to participate.
