Center for Abused Persons

Description of Services:

The Center for Abused Persons (CAP) is a private non-profit organization committed to decreasing the occurrence and effects of interpersonal violence in Charles County since 1983. CAP provides a wide array of services designed to assist adults and adolescents impacted by intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. Our offerings encompass Charles County's only 24-hour Crisis Hotline, individual counseling, victim advocacy, support groups, abuse intervention programs, and community education initiatives.
